The calculator is one of the most convenient ways to find out what price is available at the moment, and how buying a contract at a given moment with given leverage will affect your account.
You can open Trading Calculator clicking the icon in the top bar.
The calculator has 3 tabs. On the "Contract" tab you can see the basic information on the symbol.
The last price is the value of the most recent transaction.
The fair price is the market equilibrium price calculated by PrimeBit's formula.
The spot index is an average price from different external cryptocurrency exchanges.
The funding rate is calculated every eight hours to adjust the price of your perpetual contract to the reference price. We calculate the FR on the basis of Interest Rate (I) and Premium (or a Discount).
The "Position" Tab shows you important data on the position you currently have on a given trading asset. The indicative PNL is the profit or loss you can realize at a given moment closing your position at the best price available in the order book.
New Order Tab
On the "New Order" tab you can get some important insights into the trade you are considering.
You can enter the “Volume” you consider buying or selling. When you put any volume value, the calculator will present you with some interesting insights.
You will see your order value in USD, Initial margin and Max position size.
Estimated liquidation price (the price at which PrimeBit exchange will close your position automatically to protect your account from negative balance).
Fair Price is calculated by PrimeBit formula. You can read in details how it works in the separate article.
PrimeBit Trading Calculator fields explained:
- Est. liquidation price - when the asset you trade on reaches this price your position will be automatically closed. It’s a kind of default stop loss level.
- Initial margin - the number of Bitcoins on your account required to open a position.
- Available balance - your free Bitcoins that can be used for initial margin.
- Fair Price - composite index built from multiple external sources used for Unrealised PNL calculation, activating stop orders and liquidations.
